2021 Carbon Market Survey
In 2021 the first Carbon Offsets were paid to farmers for carbon sequestration. This survey shows participation levels and interest in the Carbon Markets from ag retailers, a top source of information for farmers. It found that 70 percent of retailers do not understand how to verify carbon to participate in the carbon markets.
The survey also asks Ag Retailers about their current participation in the carbon markets and their future involvement in monetizing carbon credits.
